As a veterinarian, it seems fitting that wildlife has always been the main subject of my photography. My goal is to always try to photograph animals in their natural environment.
Sometimes people ask me "why would anyone want to travel to ______ ?"
Heat, humidity, rain, mud, mosquitos; wind, snow and ice ... Dealing with the elements is part of the fun and challenge of photographing wildlife. It also enables one to have a much greater appreciation for the extreme conditions under which these animals survive and even thrive.
I hope some of my images help to answer that question of "WHY travel there?" More importantly, I hope to inspire people who view my work to help to preserve and conserve the vast beauty and diversity that exists in nature.
